Gary M. Frick, O.D.

Dr. Frick is a graduate of University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry. He has been in private practice in the city of Ventura since 1981. He is a member of the American and California Optometric Associations and the Tri-Counties Optometric Society. He is active in the community, being involved with the Lions Club and other civic organizations. He is an avid bicyclist and also enjoys woodworking, home improvement projects, woodturning, traveling and art. When you visit the office you can view his display of several woodturning projects that he has completed. He and his wife, Lori, have 2 sons, Mike and Matt, and live in Ventura. Matt is attending Sonoma State University and is playing baseball for the Seawolves. Dr. and Mrs. Frick have started two memorial baseball scholarships in honor of their late son, Mike. One is at the Ventura County Community Foundation to give a scholarship to a baseball player graduating from either Buena or Ventura High School who is going to continue playing baseball in college and the other is to a baseball player at Cal State University at Northridge. Dr. Frick is also co-owner of his own finishing lab - Gold Coast Doctors Lab.
Mrs. Connie Hougardy

Hi. My name is Connie Hougardy and I have worked for Frick Optometry since 1990. I have been married for 28 years to my husband, Rich, and I have two grown daughters, Sandi and Amy. I enjoy traveling, reading, singing, going to the movies and walking.
Mrs. Margarita Mosqueda

My name is Margarita Mosqueda. I have lived in Ventura County for about 13 years. I am married to Joe and we have two boys, Joey and Diego, ages 8 and 3. My hobbies include jogging and hiking, working out, reading, listening to music and spending time with my boys. I have been working at Frick Optometry for about 5 years. I greatly enjoy helping people in selecting their eyewear and lens styles and in helping them to look their best.
Mrs. Cheryl Torman

Hi. I'm Cheryl Torman. I recently graduated Ventura College with a focus on International Studies and Philosophy. My husband, Will, and I are proud parents of a lovely 2 1/2 year old girl, Tara. I enjoy music, cooking, gardening and sports. I've been working here since August and enjoy working with and helping people with their vision needs. I especially like helping people with their eyewear selections.
